A Perspective of “Strong”
Remarks
This was really a stark contrast for me; the road off of which I took the "Strong" photo was part of a property being set up for grape vines. In the original photo, thin strings can be seen, which mark were the new posts will be laid.
On the other side of the road, the hills showed what was to come. Hundreds of rows of pine posts and wires lined the property. When the shot was taken, the grapes were out of season and already harvested, so the wires were completely bare. From a distance the hills were a seamless brown.
I chose the name "Strong" as the tree would be many decades old and, out of luck, has survive both the forces of nature and human development in the area. I suspect one day the tree may no longer be there, but for now it stands.
