The original photo of Lee was spontaneous, and its stupidity was its charm. This photo came afterwards, and was obviously posed.
The title, "Sporting", was chosen as this is considered the "Lee look", solely because he pulls that expression in practically every photo, and it had developed into much of a long-running joke.
